Tractor Fest @ Newby Hall, North Yorkshire - Part 1

Only found out about this by accident the other day when I had the radio on in the car. I changed channel over to Star FM and they mentioned they had 1/2 price tickets on their website. Family ticket was £18 instead of £36 so bought one. Its on today & yesterday so we drove the 60 miles to Newby Hall, not far off the A1M, parked up which was free and straight into the show ground. It was massive and filled several fields. There was loads of displays, not just tractors and plenty things to do. The only thing that spoilt the day was the gale force winds but there was no rain. As part of the Rally you could go around the gardens etc of the Hall (which is normally £32 for a family ticket). There was loads to look at / do for the kids inc a boating lake and miniature railway. We all had a go on the train which was £2 each and was out for a fair while on the figure of 8 track then ice creams afterwards.
Overall a fantastic full day out and we called in past Ripon town centre on the way back. Its been  a lot of yeas since we have been there and tbh not a lot there now.
Chippy/pizza shop on the way home to finish a brilliant day out. Below are some photos  -
