Saturday morning local road ride & new magazines

God what a week it has been, very busy and no miles:-( It chucked down nearly all day Monday and the van was in the garage getting more work done on it. Angus has started college full time, still got his job at Halfords and two paper rounds! Work has been real crazy this week and driving around the County everyday is tiring. I think it was Wednesday morning the temperature at the Stonebridge was 3.5 degrees at 7am, chilly and nearly a ground frost. Yesterday I started just after 6am to try and get caught up so again no riding time. Today I wanted to have a ride with Angus before he started work at 11am but he was tired after a full day at college yesterday then straight to work and no time for time, he was out the house for 12hrs!
Today we got out at 8am just as the sun was coming through but still very cold. It was less than 4 degrees climbing up to High Shincliffe in the shade and was 14 degrees coming back home in the sun. The ride was very similar to last Sundays ride without the loop to Easington Lane / Hetton / Mosley Bank. Angus decided to take the Bowman Pilgrims as he hasn't ridden it yet and wanted to try out the Di2 gears. I took my Dale Nano Black as the roads are still dry & salt free at the mo. It was a very pleasant ride with the sun out for most of the ride, no wind for a change and very little traffic. Below are a few pics but not many as it was a semi head down / arse up ride to get back in time -
