A break away in the Lakes

In the Oct School holiday week we had a few rather wet, cold and windy days over in the Lakes. As ever we stayed over just outside Penrith and had days out from there. At one point we thought it might have been cancelled due to the up coming lockdown but just managed before they announced the coutry wide lockdown instead of regional restrictions. The Lakes were not that busy and quite a few places were still closed or restricted access, not too worry still an enjoyable time away from work and craft. Trip out to Berwick Upon Tweed

This is first time i have had with Jane / away from Angus new house for a long time! the weather on Sunday was fantastic compaired to the Monday wheere is lashed down the whole entire day. Below are a few snaps from the couple of days and it gave the new car a spin out at the same time.
