Yet another freezing cold and miserable local gravel ride

Still no sunshine but I had to get back out again. I had to go through to Meadowfield to sort a things out so I hoped onto the old railway behind the Sports Centre. From there it was along to the Brans Den, left and down hill to Sunderland Bridge, Croxdale, Tudhoe Village then Spennymoor. This is where I hoped back on to the old railway to Bishop Auckland, down into Bishop calling in past to feed the horses then through the market place and over the viaduct to pick up the old railway back to Meadowfield. I had a freezing cold 20+mph headwind on the way out but a warmer tailwind coming back in. The Garmin just reached over 1 degree for the whole ride. The lines were soft and muddy with the overnight frost melting. The lines were busy as well so very stop / start all the way around. All in 21.5 miles in 1hr 34mins with 850ft of climbing. Below are a few cold looking snaps, enjoy and hopefully more soon-
