Fresh Goodies - Specialized SL Range Extender Battery & SL Range Extender Cable 220mm Road

I already have a range extender battery and cable going back many years which I have used on both of my Creo 1's and my Creo 2. I have never had any issues with it and has performed faultlessly. I have never had the need to look at a second battery but when someone put a post on the Facebook Creo owners group about J's Cycles flogging them off half price and the cable for half price I could not turn down the deal.
The rrp on the battery is now £340 and I paid £170 inc next day delivery.
My first one I paid £299 for the battery, the cable was £24.99 over six years from Keswick Mountain Bikes.

The 220mm road SL range extender cable was also in the sale with 50% off.
RRP £30 and I paid £15 inc next day delivery from J's Cycles.

Please note they have gone back in price but still discounted.

A cold and cloudy spin over to the coast inc Roker, Seaburn, Whitburn & Suter Lighthouse.

After a rest day yesterday I decided to go back out for another short steady spin today. I parked up at Cox Green carpark and headed for Sunderland along the old C2C track. They have cut all the grass verges back along the full route and have made a really good job of it. Only a few over hanging bushes  etc. The broken glass at Sunderland end is not as bad but still a good few sections with shattered bottles etc. One thing I did notice is there was a lot less dog poo which is a god send. I reached the marina at Roker / beach in no time with very little effort. I went up the coast to Souter light house where I turned onto the road back to the Glass Centre where I joined back onto the C2C to Cox Green. When I turned at the light house I worked out why it took so little effort to that point as I now had a massive headwind all the way back up. The temporary patch / superglue was holding out on the rear tyre then with 1.5 miles to the finish I heard the hiss again and more sealant running down the bike frame. It resealed but the pressure was low so I limped it back again. I have ordered a replacement tyre from Merlin Cycles last night so should be here early next week.
All in 25.5miles in 1hr 55mins with nearly 1000ft of climbing, below are a few snaps from the ride and hopefully more soon-
