No riding yesterday after a day out with the family at South Shields enjoying the coast with Angus's dog. By the time we got home and did a few jobs I was wiped out.
Today after a good sleep I was still feeling rough and tired but forced myself out for a few steady miles. I took the original Creo 2 with the 29 x 2.2" wheelset on for some fun and comfort. I joined onto the old railway line at Langley Park and headed for Consett into a massive headwind. Once at the crossroads I turned right and headed for Consett then over to Consett Park before dropping down to the Derwent old railway line to Ebchester. It was mainly overcast and cloudy but the sun did come out a few times. There was a few others out n about but not too busy for a Sunday morning. Once at Ebchester picnic area I turned and headed back to Consett then down towards Lanchester. Then I could hear the hiss again coming from the rear, I looked down at the bike and could see tubeless sealant running down the frame etc. This will be the third ride in a row where I have had a blow out in rear tyres. It sealed after a while but lost quite a lot of pressure then it opened up again then resealed again. What a bloody carryon. More time washing the bike and clothes when I got back in. I cannot see where the sealant come from so pumped the tyre back up and see if it goes back down, I have a spare tyre ready to go on.
Below are a few snaps from the ride, all in just over 26 miles in 1hr 59mins with 1100ft of climbing. Enjoy and hopefully more soon-
