I am not one for energy food or drinks in any form or way. I just go out and have a ride! I have tried a couple of gels in past and they were awful. I used to have a few energy bars - Torq, High 5, KMC, Cliff. There is not many flavours I can stomach and they always tend to have short dates on them and go out of date by the time I eat them. I found these from Moonglu in Ripon - rrp £2.50 and I paid £2.75 each! This is the most expensive bar I have ever bought in my life, just hope they taste ok and do something!
When we have been out n about shopping etc over the last couple of weeks I have bought two magazines for some reading during the wet, windy, cloudy, crappy days when I cannot be bothered to get out on the bike.
