Rain has stopped so back out in the winter gloom - Creo 2 to Bishop Auckland

Well no spin upto Weardale this week for a ride. It rained for nearly five days from last Saturday then it has been freezing cold and windy. I have not seen the sun apart from 10 minutes since my last ride on the 6th Feb! I have been on my turbo trainer quite a few times but its not like getting out in the fresh air. Today was another freezing cold windy ride with no sun but the lines have dried out quite a lot from the rain. I hoped onto the old railway line at Langley Park and went straight to Bishop Auckland. I called in past the The House of Smudge and had a chat with John the artist then headed back to Langley Park. I had a head wind nearly all the way through so felt like I was flying coming back. There was quiet a few others out as well. I would have thought it would have been quieter but we have snow, sleet, rain forecast all weekend again. I did not stop that often to take some snaps as it was that cold. Not sure if it my old age but I seem to take forever to warm back up when I get back in from a cold ride now a days. I had left my new wheelset on my Creo 2 and I am really impressed with the amount of grip from the Tracer Pro 47mm tyres. All in just under 27 miles in 2hours with 850ft of climbing. Enjoy the few snaps below and hopefully more soon-
