Fresh Goodies - Hunt 40 Carbon Gravel Race Wheelset, Shimano RT-MT900 Disc Rotors, SRAM XO1 Eagle XG-1295 Cassette

Well this sort of come out of the blue in a way. Since buying my Creo2 the original wheelset has been in the loft as I set up a pair of Hunt 40 carbon race gravel wheels with Shimano RT-MT900 160mm disc rotors and a Sram XO1 Eagle XG-1290 10-50t 12 speed cassette with Specialized Renegade S Works 2.2" mtb tyres. They have not let me down once since fitting them to the bike.
In the summer I normally use my Creo 1 gravel bike with my DT SWISS 700c wheelset and Panaracer Gravelking tyres. Then I don't really use my Creo 2 late Spring, summer and early autumn.
Then I had a thought well why don't I set up a second pair of wheels and use the Specialized Tracer 700c x 47mm tyres from the original wheels. I was thinking about buying a different make / model of wheels but then the rotors might rub and the rear gear indexing may not be 100% in line.
Hunt had a sale then a further 10% off so bought exactly the same wheels and they worked out cheaper than the first pair! £741.84 + £5.89 p&p.  As I say I had the tyres so looked for the same rotors and bought them from Certini Cycles £79.98 (pair) inc 48hr p&p. Then I bought exactly the same cassette from Cotic Cycles £209 inc 48hr p&p. Last time I paid £165 from Merlin Cycles.
So after half an hour I had the wheels set up tubeless, tyres fitted with Stans sealant, cassette and rotors all fitted. I swapped them over onto the bike and there was no rotor rub and gears working perfect. Now I have a spare summer wheelset. Saying that I will probably try them out before then but the tread pattern is not exactly knobbly!
