Last of the sunny hot rides for the week & some man cave tinker time inc Swiss Stop EXOTherm pads

Yesterdays quick blast was to Bishop Auckland n back along the old railway line. The gravel is still bone dry and dusty in most places and easy going. There was very little wind to slow me down and not many others out so hardly no stop / start's do do. The sun was in and out and it was forecasted heavy thunder storms but it kept dry for the whole ride. Below are a couple of snaps from the ride, enjoy and hopefully more soon-

After Thursday big ride it was time for some tinkering - I have had a rattle on and off the bike for a while now but it came back again on Thursday. I was racking my peanut brain what the hell it could be. I have checked every nut and bolt on the bike. Then I realised it was the Specialized remote blips control box stuffed into the top tube. I pulled out all the cables and there was no protection around the hard plastic box so I cut and wrapped some anti slip matting around it and stuffed it all back in. No more rattles now!
Also after Thursdays ride the front brake was squeaking so I checked the pads and they were worn out so I swapped them over for some new Swiss Stop Exotherm, more on this in tomorrows Fresh Goods Sunday hopefully.
