Spin up the old railway line to Fawcett Park & Hownsgill viaduct in the sun

Another day and wall to wall sunshine again. It may look warm in the photos but we are the second coldest place in the UK again today in Co Durham. I am back out on my Creo 2 gravel bike and have removed the rear mudguard! The lines are bone dry, rock hard and dusty which means fast going under the tyre. I hoped onto the old railway line at Langley Park and headed up to Consett then over to Fawcett park where I turned and headed back down. I had a tail wind on the way up which meant a colder headwind all the way back down. No where near hard going as yesterdays headwind but still a tug in places. Loads of others out n about near the villages but quieter in between. Below are a few snaps from the ride, enjoy and hopefully more soon-

The new cafe has opened up next to the E Bike shop and was very busy!
