Fresh Goods Sunday - Assos Spring Fall Headband Black Series Size II

It is that time of year again where I hopefully stop wearing my full winter under helmet cap from 45nrth and move onto a thicker headband. My old headband is beyond being old and has a Velcro fastener at the rear which catches the collars on my tops so it was time for a replacement. With me mainly moving on to Assos clothing now I opted for their Spring / Fall headband. It is a lot deeper than my old Northwave one but thinner. I bought it a couple of weeks ago and have used it several times now under my helmet. It is very comfortable and stays in place. It keeps the cool breeze off my ears and forehead but not overally thick to make my head sweet. As ever the quality looks and feels spot on but as I always say the rrp is just eye watering so shop around for some discount. I have got a funny feeling I will be wearing this for a while longer then back on again in autumn going into winter. If it lasts as long as my old one I will be well happy.

RRP £31.00 and I paid £21.70 & £3.99 p&p from Cycle store.

Manufacturers blurb -
In spring and fall, a little insulation goes a much longer way than you’d think, especially during hard efforts like punchy hill repeats or races. A lightly insulated headband keeps your ears and forehead protected from chill and wind while letting your body naturally regulate temperature through the head’s exposed crown.
