After yesterdays ride I decided go out for another ride to chill out. I was undecided on todays route, I had nothing in mind but wanted to stick to Co Durham's old railway lines and keep away from the traffic. Still no rain and the forecasted rain later today looks like its not coming either. The lines are still bone dry, dusty and rock hard. I hoped on to the track at Langley Park and headed up to the crossroads at Consett. I turned left and headed up to Whitehall picnic area then turned back to the crossroads to turn left and over to Shotley Bridge, turned and did a different loop through Blackhill park and past Tesco's back to the crossroads. By now the sun was in and out and there was a very strong wind. A quick drink then back down to Langley Park. I had a puncture in the front tyre and Stan's kept squirting out and and again. Were was a few others out but not many. Below are a few snaps from the ride. All in 27 miles in 2hrs 7mins with 1200ft of climbing. Enjoy the few snaps below and hopefully more soon-
