Local gravel loop in the sun - with a diversion - Bishop Auckland

It was time for another spin out on the bike taking in a regular loop of mine on two of County Durham's old railway lines. The lines were wet and muddy in paces with some flooding/puddles from the previous days / nights rain storms. The local rivers were flowing fast and in full force as well. I have refitted the Ass Saver Win Wing mud guard's to both of my gravel bikes now. There was a few others out enjoying the dry spell before the next storm forecasted for the weekend of more rain and wind. There is a section of line closed after Willington but there is a short diversion in place. Durham County Council must have found some more government funding to burn before the end of the financial year.
The bike is going well and no problems to report. Just give it a charge up, top up the air in the tyres now and then and lube the chain. All in just under 22 miles with 850ft of climbing.
Below are a few pics from the ride, enjoy and hopefully more soon -
