Well I was planning on going out on the bike yesterday for a spin as the forecast was looking sunny & warm but it turned out to be overcast with rain showers and hovering around 8 degrees. So I went out today instead and was treated to lovely sunshine for part of the ride with the temperature hovering around 5 to 6 degrees on the Garmin. This is not warm but any standards but it was 15 degrees warmer than my last ride out! As the vast majority of the snow has now melted and no overnight frost I took the Cannondale Synapse Neo 1 out for a local road ride. You can see the route in the photo at the bottom of this blog along with a couple of short video clips. All in I covered just under 30 miles in 2hrs 2mins and climbed 2200ft. The roads were not that busy but you have to keep your eyes peeled for the huge amount of potholes that have appeared over the last couple of weeks.
Below are also a few snaps from the ride, enjoy and hopefully more soon-
