Fresh Goods Sunday - Endura FS260-Pro Thermo Bibtights

 

After some really cold rides this winter by old Endura bibtights are not cutting it anymore. I had a look at the Endura website to see if much has changed over the years and there was a few different MODELS to choose from. They have not changed much over the many, many years I have worn them. 

I ordered some Pro SL models & Windchill tights. The Pro SL was like wearing a plastic wetsuit on you bottom half. I have tried these in past and don't like the feel of the material / lack of stretch. The Windchill ones are mix of my normal thermo soft material and some semi wetsuit material. 

In the end I opted for the model I normally purchase the good old faithful Thermo model. Yes they do not have the wind chill panels and probably not as warm as the other two but I love the way they stretch / fit to my body. The ankles have gone back to a short zip instead of loop around the bottom of your foot. The upper front body comes higher up and has a zip fly fitted. The reflective logos / strips change slightly over the years but I have always found that over time they all peel off eventually. The 600 series pad seems comfortable enough but I have not done a longer ride in them yet. 

I always find it is best to try Endura clothing on where possible as the sizing is never consistent and by trying on several different models I found out that I was a different size in one model compared to another. If these last as long as all my other previous Endura bib tights and 3/4’s I will be over the moon with them. They have a hard life through the back end of autumn, all winter and start of spring.
