Bank Holiday Monday Local 10 mile Hike around Shincliffe areas

What a change for a Bank Holiday its not raining! in fact the sun has come out. We have had 40 to 50+ mph winds nearly all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday so I have been pottering on with jobs around the house at the weekend.
Today the wind had finally died down so we parked up at Low Shincliffe and set off on a hike. The tracks are bone dry, rock hard and dusty. All in we covered 10.13 miles in 3 hours 18 mins and only 500ft of climbing. In some parts there was others out walking, running & cycling but other parts we never seen a sole.
