Another sunny but not so warm local gravel loop with Jane

This morning Jane drove through to Brandon to drop the shopping off at her mum and dads. I rode through on the bike and met up with her. From there we joined straight onto the old railway line at the cricket club / sports centre. We then followed our usual loop taking in some very dusty, bone dry, rock hard trails. The lines and roads were very busy with loads of other people oot n aboot. We stopped at Bishop Auckland centre for a takeaway cuppa but only managed to find one bakers without a massive queue who could only knock up one cup of a char! Not too worry we at on a bench for 10 mins watching the world go by and a few nutters as well. On the way back when it was near to dinnertime the lines went lovely and quiet and we enjoyed the last few miles nearly on our own.

ps the new Hope rear hub bearings were spot on, lovely and smooth, hopefully they will last longer than the OEM crap that was fitted.
