Yet another red hot and sunny week at work. Me and Jane did a hike for nearly 2 hours on Thursday and nearly killed me off. Come yesterday morning I was up early but felt dog rough, think the weeks heat had finally caught up. Today there was a lovely cooling stiff breeze so we headed up the Waskerley line to the top of Crawleyside. It was quiet going up but loads more bikes on the way back down. There was a tail wind up and head wind for most of the way back down. It was very hot and sunny the whole ride. The lines are bone dry and dusty. The café at the top was all quiet. We called off at Hownsgill café on the way back, better value for money! I took the Cannondale Apex Slate again, really enjoying riding this bike again. Jane took the Cube e mtb and enjoyed the assist on the way up lol. Below are a few sunny / dusty snaps, enjoy and hopefully more soon -
