Up and out before 6am this morning for an early morning blast as the sun was forecast for a few hours. It was one of my usual short loops from Spennymoor - Bishop Auckland - Brandon - Sunderland Bridge - Croxdale - Tudhoe taking in two of Co Durham's old railway lines and a couple of short road sections in between. It was lovely and quiet first thing with very few people / cars out n about. It was nippy in the very strong wind with the Garmin just hovering above 8 degrees. The lines have mainly dried back out again and are fast running. Below are a few sunny and overcast snaps from the ride, enjoy and hopefully more soon-
