Another local gravel ride and some tarmac sections and a unexpected diversion.

Forecast was looking good again so I took some time of work this morning for another local gravel ride. I sort of had a plan in my head of the route but it changed about six times within 3 to 4 miles from leaving home. It was a bit of several loops and a couple of road sections chucked in for good measure. I even had a diversion at Esh Village as the farmer has chained and bolted a massive high gate shut stopping access. Not too worry a couple of extra miles added on for a diversion. I took the Creo 2 again as it was charged up and ready to rock n roll. I am still running my wheels with the Tracer 47mm tyres on. The weather was lovely and sunny for the whole ride apart from a few miles going through Crook for some reason. The wind is still blowing away like a good'un but the temperature was over 18 degrees by 9am! The track n trails and roads were all lovely and quite. Everything is nearly all back to bone dry status again. All in just over 32 miles in 2hrs 29mins with just under 2000ft of climbing. Below are a few snaps from the ride, enjoy and hopefully more soon-

Massive high gate chained and bolted shut, no access today!

Public footpath sign at the opposite end of the closed track, will have to look on DCC GIS maps to see where the public access goes to.
