Another sunny but a very cold chilling strong wind so me and Angus decided on a short ride down to Durham, around Houghall woods, Maiden Castle, Durham, Frankland then back home. Angus took the Cube E mtb and I was on the Spec Creo SL E Gravel bike. I was struggling to keep up on several occasions during the ride due to the terrain being a little too rough and he had more power in the Bosch motor! The trails are still bone dry, hard and dusty. On the way home we had a scout out around Frankland / Brasside ponds. It must have been over twenty years since I have been down there exploring the tracks. Nothing has changed!
