Our Viva was due for an MOT on Saturday but that did not go to plan and it was my fault so I have to sort the car out and get it re booked back in this week. We had planned on walking down to Durham after dropping the car off but the heavens opened and it lashed down. We decided to head back home then decided to walk into Durham. The rain kept off apart from a couple of light showers. We watched some of the Brass Festival in the market place and down at the boat house. Some bands were way better than others but a good mix. We just got back home and the heavens opened well and truly.
Today we had a look over to Bikewise. It was very busy and good cheap day out. I have not been on the bike as I am suffering from man flue and had a bad stomach last night = means I got very little sleep.
Off to the hospital tomorrow morning for my regular check up, oh the joys.
Hopefully more riding next week and we should be getting a mini heatwave on Tuesday by all accounts! wait and see on that one.
