Tuesday and there was still no rain but no sun either and the wind was blowing a near gale making it really cold so we parked up along the pier road and walked in to town. We had a walk around the shops, wall etc before heading over to Spittal for some late lunch. We parked up at the car park at the far end of the village and dropped down on to the beach and walk right along the beach to come at the car park at the opposite end to pick up the path back to the café / arcades for some shelter out of the wind for an hour or two. All our loose change rattled through the 2p machines, ice creams out of the café then a walk back along to the car park. Wednesday and still no rain and it was time to pack up. We had breakfast then over to the Vauxhall garage as Angus wanted to look at some cars, then up to out of town shopping centre for a look around then down to Go Outdoors for a few things then straight on to the A1 and headed home. I called in past Storck Cycles behind the Metro Centre for a look around as then are selling off all the Storck bikes, clothing etc. Got a couple of items!
Ps - you might be wondering where the bikes rides were, well we ran out of time tbh and never even got a trip over to Holy Island either, there's always next time.
