Well its time of year again for Tractor Fest down at Newby Hall just outside Ripon, North Yorkshire. We went down on the Saturday as it was the better forecast, after miles upon miles of road works still on the A1 we got there just in time for the gates to open. The grass was still wet for the overnight rain and it was overcast but dry. The entry fee also get you access to Newby Hall gardens inc gift and coffee shop, train, play area, boating pond etc. Its a cracking day out and plenty to do & see inc tractor pulling this year, wood cutting, hay bailing etc. The best part of the day was the ice ream van, it was fantastic, best ice cream I have had for a long time and cheap. Below are a few photos from the day out. On the way back in called in past Evans to collect my order! more on that soon.
