I kept it local and dropped down into Durham and did some loops around Houghall woods, up the trod etc covering 16 miles in the cold, sun and rain showers.
The ground was mainly frozen but the woods are up the naffs again with all the rain / snow earlier in the week.
Just as well I had my winter tyres on which provided plenty of grip in the slippery conditions. It was bombing along on the hard frozen ground as well. I also used the lock out on the lefty fork for climbing on tarmac country lanes which makes a big difference.
