Just had a short break away over to the Lakes for four days and we had fantastic weather for a change. No rain until the last day but it was not that heavy. Cold and windy but the sun was out for most of the time. Best holiday we have had for a long time. It is also our first holiday where we have not took the bikes. We have had a very busy couple of months or so and struggling to get packed in time before we went so made the decision to enjoy the holidays mud free for a change. I made up for it looking at some lovely bling in the bike shops over there !
