MSA British Rallycross Championship - Croft Racing Circuit
Today and another day of even hotter sunshine and no clouds down at Croft. It was the rally cross event so we pre booked four tickets and had a day out down there and enjoyed the motor racing. The circuit has not changed any and there was no ice cream vans, one drinks van and one food van for the whole venue. The queue was a mile long, just as well we bought our own drink and picnic lunch. The grandstand was even closed as its that old it is now unsafe to use. There was a lot less rally cross cars as well but still some very good racing. The on the day price was £18 per person, I remember when it was £10 and that was not too many years ago. They are starting to get greedy, still quite a few spectators but being a Bank Hol weekend others may have had other plans.
Below are some dusty action shots of the racing and the pits.
Tottle around South Shields on Saturday
Yesterday we all had a spin through to South Shields. We had a walk up the town first for some shopping first then called in past Morrisons before heading down towards the pier. There was not a cloud in the sky and the sun was blazing away. We had a lovely walk along the beach then back along the front towards the park. The park was very busy and the train was running. After that it was a walk up to Colemans to feast out on fish n chips, yum yum. Below are a few snaps from the day, I thought I took more on the beach but must have forgot.

Post work Sunny friday local e mtb ride
First ride of the week due to no spare time and mega busy at work. It has been a canny week of weather up here in Co Durham and today has been no different. There was still a cool strong wind but when I was in the shelter and woods it was lovely. The trails have dried up lovely and there is even dust now. I still managed to find a couple of sections of mud! Below is a collection of sunny snaps for a change. Off to enjoy the last of todays sun, hopefully more soon.
