Hot, sunny & windy 5 mile jog

I was busy Tuesday but managed to sneak in a 30 min walk, Wednesday and the sun was out but so was the wind, never the less I put on my trainers and went for a 5 mile trot up the line from Bearpark to Langley Park and did some off road loops around the field perimeters and old Colliery heap on the way back. Not many other people out and it was nice to get out of the wind in the plantation and fields on the way back.

A few more mags for this weeks reading collection.

And there is a parcel at Westys to collect - Surly Knard 650b tyre!

Bank Hol morning ride with Jane up the Waskerley

It was all quiet on the lines today with just a few other cyclists, dog walkers, walkers, runners and horse riders out and about. We had a ride up to the new seat on the Waskerley which was our turning point and called in past Hownsgill tea rooms for a cuppa and breakfast on the way back on the line to Lanchester. The weather was sunny, cloudy, overcast, warm, cool, windy - everything apart from rain. Below are a few snaps from ride, enjoy and hopefully more soon -

Nutcracker Rd3 Aske Estate, Richmond

What can I say, well that was the toughest / most technical mtb xc race courses I have ever ridden in my 30+ years of events. That's all I am going to say. Once finished we had a drive down to Richmond town centre and had a walk around the market place and had some lunch.
