As you can see by the photos we still have the heat wave and is fantastic riding. I joined onto the C2C / NCN 7 at Annfield Plain and headed straight up towards the cafe. It was head wind all the way up which is tough going but makes the descent very fast. I was freewheeling 30mph on a couple of sections on the way back with the wind up my rear. The line is bone dry / dusty and riding fast. There was quiet a few others out n about but not that many. Main problem of the ride today was ladies parking up their shopping bikes right in the middle of the track or in the middle of a gate for some obscure reason. Not too worry life is too short, they all eventually moved their bikes to one side of the track. I was 18 minutes quicker coming back down than going up! Nothing has changed much along he line apart from the rangers have cut some grass verges back and some sheep getting in the way. All in 30.5 miles with only 1100ft of climbing. Below are a few snaps from the ride, enjoy and hopefully more soon-
