Some new Fresh Goods for the Spec Creo SL bike and for the fleet of vehicles

I was going to put off buying the extender battery for the Ceo until I had a few more longer rides but whilst we were away in the Lakes I got talking to the bloke in Keswick Bikes and they had the Creo SL in and the new Spec full E sus in. He showed me the battery and had the right length cable so decided to buy it there and then! I have charged it up and fitted it to the bike but not used it yet. Once I get a few longer runs with it I will report back on Fresh Goods Sunday.
I also treated the Salsa Beargrease to a new E Thirteen bottom bracket before the bloke from Scotland came down and picked it up.

 

I also vehicle servicing time, my van was due its Year 4 service - oil, oil filter, fuel filter, pollen filters, air filter, engine flush, front brake pads.

Angus's second car was oil & oil filter. My third car was oil, oil filter, pollen filter & timing belt.

Oh the bloke from Durham Turf came out and lifted my old grass at the front, re levelled the soil to the height of the new kerbing and laid a new lawn £135 for 16m2, too all the old turf / soil away, not bad at all. Highly recommend them.

 

Well the air filter defo works in partner van! this 4 years of driving has done to it.

 

A very wet & very windy four days in the Lakes

That has got to the wettest and windiest break in the Lakes we have ever had since going. I have neve seen so much rain and wind as strong. One day they announced on the radio that there was 185mm of rain fell within a 24 hour period whilst we were there. There was only one afternoon when it stopped raining and that only lasted for one hour then started several hail / snow storms. We still got out and about had days / half days to Keswick, Penrith, Ambleside, Ings, Gretna Green. Below are a few wet looking snaps, enjoy and hopefully more soon -
