After yesterday morning ride me and Jane had a spin through to Bishop for a walk around the town / shopping / breakfast in spoons then up to Morrisons for a full shop. Filled the van with go go juice and back home to unload all the shopping.
Jane has not been out on the bike for a while, well four months! so I managed to drag her out this morning for a steady away loop back through to Bishop n back taking in mostly old railway lines. The lines are still soaking wet and muddy, they were also very busy this morning. The ride started off really cold, 1.6 degrees on the Garmin and overcast / cloudy. We stopped at Bishop for breakfast at spoons before hitting the road to pick up the old line to Spenny. The sun came out on the way back and what a difference it made. It was a ride of two halves, see the photos below. All in we covered 23 miles in 1hr 55mins and just under a 1000ft of climbing.
Once back home Arran gave me a had washing three bikes, lub'ing them back up and putting them away ready for the next ride. Then we moved onto washing and cleaning vehicles. The sun had gone in by now and it was starting to get real nippy.
Enjoy the snaps below and hopefully more soon -
