The Wolsingham Show is on this weekend and we had planned on going today but as forecasted its very heavy rain solid from 11am for the rest of the day, a real shame as we were looking forward to going.
So I have decided not to sell my Litespeed after all and have rebuilt it with some better wheels, tyres, saddle, seatpost and added some light, seatpack, water bottle cage, bell and Garmin mount. She is ready to rock and roll along the dirty, wet and cold winter railway lines.
Tomorrows forecast is looking slightly better at the mo but we have other plans unfortunately.
Also tomorrow is the Durham big ride, I thought it was last Sunday, I got mixed up its defo on tomorrow, 3, 10 & 25 mile routes. You can enter on the day and they all set off from County Hall just on the out skirts of Durham city centre. The 25 miler is a good mixed of quiet roads and the Lanchester line. Three good climbs in it as well.
Durham Big Ride is also celebrating 10 years this year and have a few things lined up at County Hall for when the riders finish.
