I have always loved Lego since being a wee nipper so we had a drive over to Reghed to have a look around the Lego exhibition. It was the last day of the exhibition just caught it in the nick of time. The exhibition had plenty of models and quite a few interactive displays for kids and adults alike to build and design things. I wanted to build a model Flying Scotsman but they did not have any models left.
We then went over to Keswick for a walk around inc down to Derwentwater. Tuesday we had breakfast in Morrisons at Penrith, walk around the town before watching the Tour of Britain (see Part 2). Again the weather was excellent, unlike Durham on the Sunday.
