After nearly a week of resting my sore back we were going to have a trip out to Hamsterley Forest for some offroad fun but it was closed due to fallen and dangerous trees blocking many trails and roads. Not to worry many more weekends to take on the muddy trails.
Today it was 11 degrees going to work before 7am, its unreal for this time of year. No signs of snow what so ever at the mo. Todays daylight ride was on the Beargrease for a steady away spin, the trails were dry and Durham County Council rangers had done a fantastic job of clearing all the fallen trees after the gails. If you have a wood burning stove there are plenty of logs out there!
Onto the night ride it was still warm around 9 degrees but a cooling wind in places. Had a ride down and around Durham City the town centre was dead with only a few soles wandering around. I took my pompi and Angus was on his Mukluk. Below are some photos from today
