I looked at this guide book when it first come out but wanted to wait until I seen it in the flesh and have a quick flick through. When we were up in Blanchland on bank holiday Monday the gift shop had some copies in. After a quick look through and I parted with my money at the till. The lady serving said they were not sure if they would sell well but they have sold quite a few copies now. I will start to read through it when the forecasted rain comes next week. RRP £15.95
I also picked up a copy of June's issue of the Cyclist Magazine. I am stopping my subscription for Cycling Plus and might take out a new sub for Cyclist instead.
And onto using some new Fresh Goodies Assos items I have had stashed away. With the warmer temperatures over the bank holiday weekend I opted to start wearing this trail jersey which is very thin and breathable. It has longer sleeve length which is better for me to cover my skin graft on my right arm from the sun. It has no pockets on the rear and a looser fit. More on this is an upcoming Fresh Goods Sunday.
I also opened up another Assos box with some new new bib shorts in which I have had for a while. Its the firsts time I have manged to wear bib shorts this year as it has always been too cold at the time of day when I have been riding. I only paid £55 for these so they were a bargain!
Last but not least I have been wearing my black Assos Tactica socks for a few weeks now but I dug these green ones to match my new jersey! Sad really lol.
