Once the rain had stopped I headed off out a for a short loop down to Durham, then over to Maiden Castle, up The Trod, back around Durham then around the dog kennels / The Sands then back hone. The sun was in out during the ride but the wind was unreal. The river was well up and swollen. I did not realise just how much rain we had yesterday / last night / this morning. The trails were up the naff's in clarts and some very large puddles. Quite a few other people out and about. All in 14 miles and just under 1000ft of climbing. Bwlow are a few snaps, enjoy and hopefully more soon if the wind dies down!
