Fresh Goods Sunday - Gore Bikewear C3 Windstopper Light Vest (gilet)

With the weather recently feeling very Autumnal and the strong winds it was time dig out the new gilet. I have used my two Scot gilets for many years and have never let me down. The only problem if there was a cool wind the front did not offer much protection. This new Gore one is much better for Spring / Autumn time for the cooler morning / evenings rides. Due to the different material it looks like it will be too hot in the warmer months so will go back to my old Scott ones. This gore model has got two rear pockets where my Scott has two slits where you and meant to reach through and into your jersey pockets underneath . The Gore one also has a small zipped pocket on the chest. Not sure if I will use this much but its better to have a secure pocket and quick / easy to get to. The quality of the garment is spot on and is real good value at the sale price. The gilet is very lightweight and folds up nicely to fit into your jersey pocket if you want to take it off mid ride. Looking at the quality this should hopefully last as long as my dead old Scott ones! There is no way on earth it is worth the full rrp so shop around.

RRP £89.99 (Wiggle/CRC rrp £120!) and I paid £57.98
