Walk down to Durham & back and weekly catch up

Rain, rain and more rain. Yes it has rained and rained here in County Durham. Think we had three days / nights of continuous rain but it did dry up late Friday pm / teatime so I did a 2hr 30min walk. Apart from that it I was working 11 hour shifts again to try and catch up with my workload.
Saturday come and the forecast was dry with some sun so me, Jane And Angus decided to have a walk down to Durham, walk around Durham then walk back home. First time we have been around the shops / city centre for a very long time and it has gone right down hill. We also had a walk around the Millburngate or what ever it is called, not impressed in the slightest. It was better the way it was before they 1/2 knocked it down. Anyway bac home and get the bikes ready for the Sunderland Big Bike Ride tomorrow.
