Another local road loop on the Cannondale Synapse Neo E Bike

Yesterday was the last day of the heat wave in Co Durham so it was a shame not to waste it. I took the new Neo 1 E road bike back out again for another local spin. This will be my fourth ride on it now and starting to get used to the motor / power / settings. The motor is a lot quieter than the performance cx line version but the Dura Ace disc brakes and squealing like pigs being strangled!  It is by far the worse noise I have had on any disc brake system. I also need to check the pressure in the front tyre as sometimes the front end seems a little harsh on my wrists / palms. The forks have no rake / curve in them so don't think that helps any. Todays loop was longer than Tuesdays, taking in nearly 200ft of climbing. Below are more sunny snaps, enjoy and hopefully more soon -

Local small road loop on Cannondale Synapse Neo

Yet another fantastic day of sunshine and heat. It was 1 degrees going to work at 6.30am but the sun soon come through and the temperature on the Garmin was reading 16 degrees. I did not have much time today so it was a quick local road loop. A lot less climbing with only 1200ft of up. Below are few more sunny snaps, enjoy and hopefully more soon -

Second ride on the Cannondale Synapse Neo Al 1 E road bike - County Durham / Cumbria / Northumberland

The weather in County Durham at the mo is just unreal. We don't get as good weather in the middle of summer! The forecast was 13 degrees but in Weardale it was a lot higher = time to get the bike out for its second shake down ride. This was a loop of just under 28 miles taking in crossing the border into Cumbria, Northumberland then back into County Durham. Some of the roads / climbs I have not done in quite a few years and really enjoyed getting back out again in that them there hills. Less climbing this time with just under 3100ft. The battery was showing 58% left. The bike needs a few little tweaks, apart from that it is a total joy to ride. I have decided not to change the cassette to a 11-34t and keep the 11-30t. Below are a few sunny snaps and a couple of videos at the bottom. Enjoy and hopefully more soon -
