The weather is fantastic here in County durham at the mo. Went to work yetsterday morning and it was 9 degrees at 6.30am! I managed a good hike for nearly three hours yesterday and had a good sweat on. Today it was time to drag the bike out, again the sun was glorious but not as hot. There was an overnight frost so the lines were soft in places and wet on the top. It was a straight forward out n back route using the old railway lines all the way. My turning point was Hownsgill viaduct at Consett. There was a few other people out n about enjoying the sun. The forecast is looking good all weekend and next week in Durham.
