What a miserable week of weather - Fridays ride on the Mason

After getting back from the West on Monday afternoon it has been overcast / cloudy / windy and cold since. I managed a walk for nearly two hours yesterday in mainly heavy drizzle and was awful.
Today it was not raining so dragged out the Mason with the 650b x 2"off road tyres on. It was still cold- less than 3 degrees, windy, over cast and cloudy. The sun did try and get out for a split second and failed!
The lines / tracks are very wet, soft and muddy. It  was hard going in places but enjoyed the ride all the same. It was a local loop taking in the old railway lines - Meadowfield to Broompark, Broompark to Langley Park, Esh Winning to Stanley Crook, Willington to Brandon. There was not many other people out and about - couple on bikes, couple on horses, one runner and a few dog walkers.
The Mason is still running well with no probs. I might lift the stem one spacer as my back pain has come back again.
Below are a few snaps, enjoy and hopefully more soon -
