Sunday Morning local Bishop Gravel Loop

Another fantastic forecast for today so me and Angus went out on the Mason Bokeh and Cannondale Slate gravel bikes for a mainly off road loop @ 7am over to Broom Park the back way to join onto the line to Bishop Auckland, We came back via Spennymoor, Tudhoe Village, Croxdale, Sunderland Bridge, Croxdale Estate, Bowburn, Shincliffe, Maiden Castle, Durham, Frankland, Brasside, Newton Hall and home. All in just under 37 miles, could have gone further but Angus was suffering from the heat. Just under 2000ft of climbing so not a hilly route. Bikes were no problem but Angus got a slow puncture approx. 1/2 away from home on the rear Surly Knard.
Once back home it was wash the bike time and some fettling in the red hot man cave, enjoy the photos below and hopefully more soon -

Slate - fix rear puncture, fit second Cannondale bottle cage to match the other one. Grease the Ritchey pedals as the bearings were starting to sound a little dry.
Mason - fitted some frame saver to the top tube so the frame bag does not mark the paint. Removed the alu bottle cage and fitted the carbon one from the Slate and that was it.
