Fresh Goods Sunday - Bontrager XR0 Team Issue 650b/27.5" x 2" tyre

I have been running this tyre on the front of the Slate for a few weeks now then swapped it on to the Mason last week. I have only run in on dry trails so far and is very fast rolling along the old railway lines of County Durham which are mainly hard packed gravel surface. Looking at the tread pattern there is no way I will be running this tyre through the winter months / more muddy conditions. It is very light coming in at 395g instead of the claimed 410g manufacturers claim, which is 160g lighter than the Panaracer 650b x2" Comet. It is not a tight tyre on the Mavic rim on the Slate or the Hunt rim on the Mason. The beads seat quickly and every time with a air compressor. As for the width well it is also bang on 2" or 50mm when inflated to 30psi. I have only had one "p" so far so fingers crossed I don't get many more. I cannot comment on how long the rubber is going to last as I have not done enough miles on it yet to comment. I am running it at max 30psi on smoother routes and drop slightly on more "off road" routes and never lost traction yet.
RRP £39.99, I paid £30.99 inc next day delivery from Triton Cycles
